I am amazed at the magic that can happen with some yarn, a hook and a thoughtful mind. I have been a fan of work for some time now. The pieces she creates with such care of shape and color really move me. My heart certainly beats faster and my mind begins to race a bit. I first saw her work in person when . I especially love this shot, reminds me of the charts I love so much.

Getting letters and things in the mail is one of those things that makes my heart beat even faster. I’m not excatly sure what it is about mail art, perhaps the passion that goes into making something for someone special, or the travel part, or the postage part (I LOVE stamps). But I do love it. My blog friend always finds the most interesting and beautiful art and events to read about and see. I love checking in and seeing what she’s found, and today, well, it made my heart beat a bit faster than usual. In fact, I almost have to think she posted it just for me!
These wonderful animal illustrations from . She’s got that you can download (free), give to the kids to color, or as , use them as crewel patterns. As I like to stitch most of my gifts, I’ve been thinking about stitching animals for kids, and I think I might have to use these!
But as I explore even more, I am just swooning over her and kits. I am totally drawn to these. I think it is because they are printed on fabric (if you know me, I am obsessed with anything printed on fabric, and well, just fabric in general), and two, I am completely drawn in to each design, I just love her illustrations.

I am really intrigued by cloth kits. Some, I must be honest, I wouldn’t make, but I would make Louise Elliot’s kit in a heartbeat, and anything from especially:
this . SWOON CITY!!!
I’ve been looking for ideas of ways to use the scraps from our textile items that are being used in our Eco-Quilts and while I’ve been staring at Issue 22 of , and always stopping to stare and soak in this image, it wasn’t until today I did a little research.
, a French Stylist, Artist with incredible vision for re-purposing clothing and textiles has an incredible portfolio.
Her work is proof that re-purposed items can be well designed, sophisticated and elegant. Her work comes from studying people and how they wear clothing, and is quite astounding. I can’t find a piece I dislike, and I am in love with her flowers and necklaces, and well, everything. Please visit . The images are just breathtaking.
