  • hi! poking around on Linkedin I found your blog, full of wonderful things, and I’ve only just begun… will return to read more but wanted to be the first to apparently comment on this wonderful photo of a flying happy head and a shadow that I imagine belongs to the head (or did at one time)… as a photographer I am wishing I had been the brilliant author of such a winning picture.

lots of love, from your old colleague Catherine B

Zanne- you might want to really check out something you’d have lots of fun attending; Dr. Sketchy’s anti-art sessions, which happen every 3rd Sunday of the month 6-9pm at the wonderful Oddfellows Hall on Capitol Hill. My older sis took up watercolor some years ago, and long story short, began going to this regularly. Its for any artist drawing, sketching, painting, etc… the live model is always someone from the very spiffy & busy burlesque performers, here and from elsewhere. I became the official photographer for them last yr. just to do something fun and although I have to get all the regular poses on film for the site, I’m privately concentrate on getting more artistic images – blurry, moving, expressions, costumes – you can see what it looks like on my site http://bassetti.zenfolios.com or check out theirs which is under new owndership, tells the history, etc. Dr. Sketchy is now a worldwide phenonmenon! http://www.drsketchyseattle ta ta! let me know what you’re up to one day.
