Tonight , Lois and I went to to hear read from her new book, . I love listening to writers talk, because they spend so much time thinking, their comments and answers to questions are always so complete, at least to my ears.
I’ve only read , and soaked up every word, all of her other books are on my wish list to read. I’ve heard her a few times on . She is so interested and passionate about history, I wish she would have been my history teacher in school. I think I would have paid more attention, been interested in more events and people, and enjoyed history even more (I already enjoy history, but not as much I think if I had a teacher who loved it at much as Sarah Vowell does).
