started with lunch at where it was a bit busy so we had to wait a little…. and play with the camera of course…
After yummy onion rings we drove on over to the zoo. Iz was so excited, every minute, “Is this the zoo mommy?”
We took a snack break on the hippo.
My little farm girl took a spin on the tractor.
And climbed earth worms.
It was such a good day, perfect fall weather, sunny and a bit on the cool side, but still warm. We ran around the zoo for hours.
Did you notice the poncho? Lovely find in a consignment shop. Inspiration for the yellow farm girl poncho. She’s already asked me for more. How many ponchos does a girl need?
Looks like such a fun day. LOVE THE PONCHOS. This weekend was Fall Fest and the weather was perfect again, two years in a row….yeeha.

I love the ponchos!! I just bought a pretty vintage cape (on etsy, of course) but it’s been so beautiful and to warm to wear it. Soon though, soon.
i would love to make this poncho. is there a place to find the pattern? i just adore the hood, and it seems like a fairly doable project for a semi-beginner. aka myself
